Dr. Sheen does perform minor surgical procedures within the office. However, when more involved procedures such as impacted extractions, implant fixture placement, and gum grafts are necessary, we feel it best to refer the patient to the appropriate specialist. Dr. Sheen works closely with the most skilled specialists in the greater-Annapolis area.
Dental implants are currently the standard of care for replacing missing teeth. Dr. Sheen has undergone extensive training in the restoration of dental implants. His skill level ranges from single tooth replacement to full mouth reconstruction. Though Dr. Sheen does not personally place the implant(s), he does works closely with the specialist of choice to ensure the appropriate implant is placed in the exact location to allow for the fabrication of the perfect restoration. Should you need to undergo such a procedure, no steps are missed or bypassed. This attention to detail ensures the highest success rate for the implant and the final restoration.
